David Patterson is a concerned and attentive orthopedic surgeon serving the communities of Ann Arbor and Brighton, MI. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California, completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington, and completed a fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Patterson arrives at the University of Michigan from the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), where he was a specialist in sports medicine and knee preservation, and was a team physician for the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. He is a part of the MedSport sports medicine team and sees patients at the Brighton Center for Specialty Care. 

Dr. Patterson is dedicated to helping patients receive the treatment they need so they can enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle. He treats a range of conditions, and he is eager to help the wider community receive the care they deserve.
