The University of Michigan MedSport Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Fellowships provide fellows with the knowledge, skills and tools to be leaders in the field of sports medicine and shoulder surgery. The fellow will rotate with each of the sports medicine faculty members. Clinical experience received will include shoulder arthroplasty and hip arthroscopy. Our state-of-the-art clinic includes space for clinical and human performance research.
Two fellowships are available. Each of the fellows will have dedicated research time and will work closely with one or more faculty members to develop a research plan. We offer research opportunities in both clinical and basic science investigation.
Fellows will develop team physician skills by providing care for athletes at the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University and the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.
