Dr. Wojtys is a graduate of the UM Medical School and a former Wolverine athlete. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan. After completing a fellowship at Cincinnati Sportsmedicine Center, he returned to the U-M Department of Surgery. Dr. Wojtys is recipient of both the Donoghue and Excellence in Research awards from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine for his work on female knee injuries and anterior cruciate ligament injuries. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the NFL Injury and Safety Panel.
