Strides in Research

Dr. Davis is conducting clinically driven basic science research on large, segmental bone defects. His resident research abstract was selected for a podium presentation at the ORS/OREF Midwest Region Resident Research Symposium, which was held April 5, 2019. His abstract was also selected for a talk at the Orthopaedic Trauma Association meeting, which will be held in September 2019 in Denver. The title of his talk is Evaluation of Local Gene Expression in Response to the Presence of Antibiotics in a Polymethylmethracylate Spacer. His mentors are Mark Hake, M.D (Orthopaedic Trauma) and Andrea I. Alford (Orthopaedic Research Laboratories).
