October 3, 2015- Overview of Pain Medication Take-Back Event

Our 2nd Pain Medication Take-Back Day was a success!

The Division of Pain Research, Anesthesiology and the Ann Arbor Police Department were at the Pioneer High School parking lot for the 2nd Pain Medication Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 3, 2015, where we collected almost 55 pounds of unused, not needed

medications. That is almost double the amount from our first drive on August 1st! Although the day was cool and windy, community support did not waver and our day was a success! Medications, broken down in the chart below, are harmful to small children, teens, pets and the environment. Thank you for partnering with us in our continued efforts to maintaining a healthy and safe community! We look forward to another event sometime in the spring of 2016.
