About Me:
I was born and raised in New York City in a French-American family and school where home-cooked meals and community were always top of mind. At an early age, I followed in my mother’s footsteps to start dancing, which I continued throughout college where I pursued a minor in Dance, accompanied by a major in Psychology at Connecticut College. Through my undergraduate studies, I developed a holistic perspective of the mind, body, and health, which ultimately led me to pursue medicine. I attended Columbia University to pursue their post-baccalaureate premedical program, followed by a Master’s degree in Nutrition. I came to the University of Michigan for medical school where I focused mainly on lifestyle medicine, health disparities and health justice, and medical education. Outside of medicine, you can find me going for long walks, swimming in the Huron River (even in the winter!), cycling along the B2B trail, reading novels, or trying to find the best croissants in Ann Arbor!
Why I chose Michigan:
Despite coming from the Northeast, Ann Arbor quickly became home for me throughout medical school. Not only did I meet my partner, Bryan, in medical school, but the community in- and out-of the hospital became family as well – from the farmers at the Kerrytown market to the volunteers at the bike co-op. My most meaningful mentors were also within the Med-Peds community at Michigan – both the faculty and residents. It was easy to imagine myself learning from and growing closer to this wonderful group of people in a place that allowed me to thrive both personally and professionally!
