This activity is intended for pediatricians, family practitioners and allied health professionals who work with children.
Objectives
- Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to evaluate pediatric patients presenting to their PCP with pediatric heart concerns, orthopedic conditions, problems concerning the eye or unexplained abdominal pain.
- Learners will improve their knowledge of the treatment options available for pediatric patients with certain heart conditions, orthopedic issues, and eye concerns or unexplained abdominal pain.
- Learners will improve their knowledge of which patients can be treated in the primary pediatric office and when a patient should be seen by a pediatric subspecialist when presenting with certain conditions.
