About Me:
Hi everyone! I grew up in West Bloomfield, MI and I am the youngest of 3 sisters. I attended Oakland University for undergrad, majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Spanish. I then continued on at Central Michigan University for medical school. I have a special interest in neonatal care and I am becoming a lactation consultant! In my free time, I love to do CrossFit, go on nature walks through the arb and travel. I also enjoy strolling through the local Kerrytown farmers market, gardening, knitting, cooking and spending time with my fiancé, friends and family. I am honored to be apart of the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital community! GO BLUE!!
Why I chose Michigan:
I chose UofM because of the genuine camaraderie I observed among staff and residents during my away rotation and interview day. From the first day of my month-long experience at Mott's I felt welcomed and an important part of the team. The supportive and caring environment, along with the emphasis on continued education and learning, made it the ideal place for me to grow both personally and professionally.
