About Me:
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin but my family quickly moved to Buffalo, New York where I spent my entire life growing up. I attended SUNY Geneseo for my undergraduate studies where I was also involved in volunteering at Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester, NY, and ran for the collegiate track and field team. After completing my degree in biochemistry, I returned to Buffalo for medical school at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
Outside of the hospital, I am a huge football fan (Go Bills!) and still enjoy running recreationally, and basically any other outdoor activity. I also enjoy watching Survivor and the Amazing Race.
Why I chose Michigan:
Throughout the interview process, everyone who I spoke with had nothing but positive things to say about the program and the area of Ann Arbor. It was clear that they have a strong educational curriculum and a diverse patient population that will provide many learning opportunities to become a great pediatrician.
