Please join us in welcoming Dr. Andy Alt, a Michigan Pharmacology Alum and former PSTP scholar, back to the University of Michigan as the new Director of the Center for Chemical Genomics at LSI and as Assistant Research Scientist in Pharmacology, effective January 1, 2018.
As many of you know, Andy has outstanding professional experience in HTS, having led one of the two HTS facilities at Bristol-Myers Squibb for 8 years, and supported all therapeutic areas in this role. He is a returning Wolverine, having earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 2000 under the mentorship of Dr. James Woods and Dr. John Traynor.
We are very excited to add him to our faculty and look forward to his leadership in the next chapter in drug discovery at Michigan.
