Congratulations to Dr. Nicole Michmerhuizen!

Nicole Michmerhuizen, Ph.D. (2019 Brenner/Carey labs) has been selected to receive a ProQuest 2019 Distinguished Dissertation Award for her thesis “Examining Mechanisms of Sensitivity and Resistance to Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase Inhibitors in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma”.

This ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award, which includes an honorarium of $1,000, is given in recognition of the most exceptional scholarly work produced by doctoral students at the University of Michigan who completed their dissertations in 2019.  Michigan Society of Fellows members serve as the primary selection committee. The sponsor of the award program is ProQuest Information Services.  The awards will be presented at a ceremony and reception from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the Assembly Hall on the fourth floor of the Rackham Building. All are welcome to join in this recognition and celebration of Nicole's work.
