Julie Philippe (Jenkins lab)'s review on the role of protein palmitoylation in the control of substrate localization and function was accepted for publication in Molecular Membrane Biology. This review focuses on non-Golgi-localized DHHC enzymes who may mediate local palmitoylation of substrates in order to define their subcellular localization.
