Wendell W. Weber, PhD, MD (1925-2018)

Wendell W. Weber, PhD, MD, the “father” of arylamine N-acetyltransferase research, and more broadly (along with his colleague Werner Kalow) the field of pharmacogenetics, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the age of 92.

Noah Schenk, Anantharam Lab, is a recipient of a 2018 CID Travel Award.

Noah Schenk, a sophomore in Anantharm lab who is majoring in electrical engineering, won a $1000 travel award from the Biophysical Society to present his abstract at the Biophysical Society 62nd Annual Meeting, to be held, February 17- 21, in San Francisco, California.
