Areas of Interest

Tenzin completed his bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Integrative Sciences at Wesleyan University. At Wesleyan, he worked on developing a novel approach of identifying biomarkers in clinical fluid using rhodium nanoparticles and Surface Enhanced Resonance Raman Spectroscopy (SERRS). For his doctoral study, he is currently investigating the role of hypoxia in pancreatic tumorigenesis by regulating the functions and phenotypes of fibroblasts.  Supported by: Pharmacological Sciences Training Program NIH T32, Rackham Merit Fellowship
