Biography

Hometown: Advance, NC

Pharmacy School: UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy

Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? I chose to come up and brave the cold in Michigan because of the amazing variety of experiences the program offered! I'm really passionate about research and teaching, so I was drawn to the great opportunities for research projects and the College of Pharmacy teaching requirements here. There were also several pharmacists at my pharmacy school who spoke highly of the mentorship that preceptors provide here at Michigan.

Advice for future residents: Greet new experiences with open arms; there are great things to be learned from every situation! Always make time to be a person outside of pharmacy, too. Host that game night, see that movie, or say no to that optional meeting every once in a while.
