Biography

Hometown: Berkley, MI

Pharmacy School: University of Michigan

PGY-1 (if current PGY-2): Michigan Medicine

Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? I think our preceptors are the best in the country - so I decided to stick around two more years after graduating pharmacy school.

Research Topic: Outcomes of Patients with Relapsed/Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) Undergoing Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-Cell Therapy vs Autologous Stem Cell Transplant (ASCT)

Writing Topic: The ABCs of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)

Hobbies outside of pharmacy: Reading, running/biking/swimming, board games, building/painting models

Favorite Book: The Count of Monte Cristo' by Alexandre Dumas

Favorite Movie: Star Wars (Original Trilogy, all in a row)

Favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor: I'm a big fan of Jolly Pumpkin... great pizza and equally great sour beer

Advice for future residents: The most important thing is to be intentional with your time in residency - when you're working, work hard... but when you play, play just as hard :)

Advice on how to prepare for Michigan winters: Buy a good jacket (with goose down in it), gloves are a must, always dress in layers - and honestly just keep a nice stockpile of beer (or your drink of choice) at home to take the chill away. They're really not that bad, I promise!
