Originally from Hong Kong, Christabel graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Nutritional Sciences - Toxicology. As the Transitions of Care (TOC) intern, her role is to help facilitate the smooth discharge of patients out of the hospital through various initiatives, increasing overall patient satisfaction and efficiency. The TOC initiatives include participating in new bedside medication-delivery initiative called “MiRxExpress”. This program allows certain patients to elect for their medications to be delivered to their room when they are ready to be discharged. Her role also includes assisting with discharge triage and bedside delivery. She assists to improve the medication reconciliation process across the institution through committee and project work. In her free time, Christabel enjoys playing music and singing, traveling and trying different foods. In the future, she would like to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy and a residency after graduation.
