Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? Michigan has a broad variety of rotations available to residents, which was important to me as I want to be a well-rounded pharmacist who has experience in a wide array of practice settings and specialties. In addition, Michigan has PGY1 rotation offerings and project availability in palliative care and pain management, which is my primary area of interest.

Advice for future residents: Be open minded when looking at residency programs - a program that looks perfect on paper may not actually be a great fit for you and vice versa. Talk to the preceptors and current residents to get a feel for what a program is really like - try to learn about what the program looks like both day-to-day and big picture.
