Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? I loved the opportunities to work both outpatient and inpatient while getting to build relationships with other members of the team. Additionally, I knew the close ties with the college of pharmacy would provide me with the chance to work with students in a variety of ways. After interviewing and getting to chat with everyone about my goals after residency, I knew it was the right place for me.

Advice for future residents: Always ask yourself why. It will help you be a better pharmacist and it helps in your personal life when you are trying to make a decision. If you stop for a minute and think about why you want to do something or why a recommendation is the way it is then it'll be easier to critically think and come up with a solution.
