Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? Excellent health system with great mentorship and training opportunities. Plus, Ann Arbor is awesome!

Research Topic: Effect of a Pharmacist-Led Interdisciplinary Dietary Sodium Intervention on Blood Pressure, Sodium Knowledge, and Self-Efficacy in Patients with Stage 3 and 4 Chronic Kidney Disease

Writing Topic: Medication Management in the Conservative Management of Patients with End Stage Kidney Disease

Hobbies outside of pharmacy: Baking, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends & family.

Favorite Book: Pride & Prejudice

Favorite Movie: Ratatouille

Advice for future residents: Don't do something just because you think you're supposed to. Be honest. Do what you love, and love what you do.

Favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor (and why): My house. Because I've already paid for groceries, and I don't have to wear makeup.

Advice on how to prepare for Michigan winters: Buy the accessories. Just a coat will not cut it.

Best advice received from a preceptor: Keep an open mind. You never know where your interests will take you, and pharmacy is a very versatile field.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what drug would you bring? (and why): Aspirin. So many different uses!

Favorite part about doing residency at Michigan Medicine: It IS challenging, but you'll always be supported and surrounded by others just as passionate about providing the best in patient care.
