Biography

I joined Michigan Medicine in 2014 and currently serve as the ambulatory care clinical pharmacy specialist for the Adult General Medicine clinics at Northville Health Center and West Ann Arbor Health Center –Parkland Plaza. My primary role is to provide care to patients with diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia under a collaborative practice agreement.I also perform comprehensive medication/supplement reviews, update asthma action plans, validate home blood pressure monitoring devices, and provide diabetes education, insulin teaching, and medication device training as needed. I spend the majority of my time in clinic, but when I am not seeing patients I assist with various medication-related Quality Improvement projects and provide informal in-service presentations to clinic providers, medical trainees, and other clinic staff.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, music, traveling, and spending time with my husband and three girls.
