Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? During meet-and-greets and interviews, I was drawn to Michigan due to the multitude of research, clinical, and teaching opportunities offered to pharmacy residents, but it was the genuine interactions with their pharmacist preceptors that ultimately won me over. Here, I have the opportunity to train under the guidance of leading experts who are heavily invested in the success of pharmacy residents, which creates endless opportunities for professional and personal growth. I also love my large residency class and the strong affiliation with the College of Pharmacy.
Research Topic: Association between delayed graft function, tacrolimus exposure, and CYP3A genotype in adult kidney transplant recipients.
Writing Topic: Review of novel uncomplicated UTI therapeutics
Hobbies outside of pharmacy: Traveling, kayaking, photography, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends and family

Advice for future residents: Don't be afraid to dive into residency- get to know your co-residents, reach out to preceptors in your interest areas, and challenge yourself to meet each new experience with an open mind. Surround yourself with people who will let you ask the hard questions and then work with you to find your answers.
