Biography

Dr. Abigail Johnson is a Clinical Assistant Professor and member of the pediatric faculty group in the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology. She has been board certified in clinical neuropsychology since 2014 and is the acting training director of the clinical fellowship programs and one of the lead supervisors for the pediatric fellows. Dr. Johnson was awarded her Ph.D. in child clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University and completed her clinical internship in pediatric consultation/liaison and neuropsychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

After completing her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical, she remained at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a staff neuropsychologist for two years. As a member of the RPN faculty, she provides comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological assessments to children referred by diverse medical specialties including neurology, neurorehabilitation, neurosurgery, and others. Her clinical and research interests include in predicting and improving clinical outcomes for children who sustain traumatic and acquired brain injury, as well as predictors of outcomes and intervention for patients with concussion/mTBI.
