Biography

Dr. Briceno completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology at Wayne State University. She completed her postdoctoral residency at the University of Michigan/VA consortium postdoctoral training program in Neuropsychology. 

Dr. Briceno’s research focuses on cognitive health disparities and cognitive measurement across culturally and linguistically diverse older adult populations. She studies cognitive aging and the measurement of cognitive and functional impairment in international population-based aging studies, including studies in the HCAP Network. She is the neuropsychologist for the Cognitive Health Services Research Program and is a member of IHPI, Global REACH, and the Center for Global Health Equity.  

Dr. Briceno’s clinical work includes outpatient neuropsychological assessments, with particular clinical interests in the neuropsychological assessment of older adults and stroke survivors.
