Dr. Danko joined the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Michigan Medicine in 2018 as a specialist in medically complex rehabilitation.  He and Dr. Doug Verrill have been working together to set up that service and to provide care at the Orthotics & Prosthetics Center for patients with amputations and related needs.  Dr. Danko completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his PM&R training at New York University in 2015.  He was in private practice until joining PM&R at Michigan Medicine.

On behalf of the department and the whole adult rehabilitation team, we want to thank Dr. Ed Chadd for his stupendous work as medical director and MPlan medical lead on the inpatient rehabilitation unit.  Ed, working with Dr. Ted Claflin, implemented many improvements in the unit, including the service line model of care.  We congratulate Ed on a job well done.
