“Mobility issues like moving around, walking, using stairs, or even getting up out of a chair are really common. They affect around 13% of the U.S. population,” Whibley said.... These mobility problems can lead to difficulties living independently, an increased risk of falls, and ultimately a lower quality of life. The study indicates that women with chronic conditions -- such as diabetes, arthritis, and multiple sclerosis -- who experience poor sleep are also more likely to encounter mobility challenges."
