2019 Sports & Programs 

Walker Soccer  

5-6 week session focusing on soccer skills for children with disabilities. Walkers, crutches, wheelchairs welcome. Ages 5-18.
Spring/Fall Sessions offered

Current Season: Saturdays May 4 - June 8* 
*Please note there will be NO practice Saturday, May 25th

Adaptive Kayaking

Kayaks provided. Still-water paddling. All ages.
*Must be able to breathe independently and hold head upright.
May - August.

We paddle out of Gallup Park Canoe Livery: 3000 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Sessions offered in 1.5 hour time blocks between 9:00a-3:00p. You will be assigned a time slot based on your kayaking needs.

Bikes provided, or bring your own. Group rides, fittings, and clinics. All ages.
April - September. Events are FREE of charge.

Wheelchair and Adaptive Tennis 

Equipment provided. This introduction to tennis is geared towards wheelchair users and others who may need adaptations to participate in Tennis. 
All ages welcome!

Adaptive Tree Climbing

Learn how to climb a tree with adaptive equipment. Pediatric priority, and then open to all ages.
2x/year (Spring & Fall).

Martial Arts

Adaptive martial arts for children with disabilities. Focuses on what children can do, with adaptations made as needed by recreational and physical therapists. Classes led by martial arts instructor, Sensei Dave Reicher.

Sports Club

6-week program, offering children 6-10 with mild physical and cognitive disabilities the opportunity to strengthen basic sports skills. Participants will be introduced to a new sport each week, such as: basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, etc.
