Dr. Shahd Haidar attended medical school at Northeast Medical University, and completed her internship at the St. Elizabeth Health Center and residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Haidar's clinical interests include spine and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Her research interests include complementary alternative medicine practices particularly in the spinal cord injury population, and pain alleviating practices in the setting of electrodiagnostic procedures. Dr. Haidar also has an interest in cultural competence and awareness and its importance in medicine, particularly in the field of PM&R.
