Favorite Places in Ann Arbor: The Arb; floating down the Huron River on a nice day. There are many great restaurants and family things to do in the city as well.

Why UM? I really connected with the residents and faculty who I met during my interview.  I have been very impressed breadth and depth of training opportunities across the specialty with wonderful general and fellowship trained faculty. There is great support for resident research here,  I also think that the culture of the residency is very welcoming and friendly. Ann Arbor is also a great place to live, with the feel and great resources of a city, but easy to get around and with lots of fun things to do.
