Biography
Durga joined Dr. Sue O’Shea's lab in July 2018 as a Research Lab Specialist Senior. He received his M.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Eastern Michigan University in 2012. He worked for several years in industry.
Durga's focus is on few projects: isolation of exosomes from cultured astrocytes, from blood obtained from bipolar and undiagnosed individuals, investigating astrocyte-derived exosomes composition and function in bipolar disorder, and growing cerebral organoids from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC).
