16th Annual Prechter Lecture Featuring Chamique Holdsclaw

Former WNBA star who lives with bipolar disorder and a dedicated mental health advocate

The 16th Annual Prechter Lecture featured keynote speaker Chamique Holdsclaw, former WNBA star and mental health advocate. Chamique presented Mind/Game: The lifelong pursuit of order after a bipolar disorder diagnosis. Chamique touched on her mental health struggles throughout her life and how she has become committed to help others accept and seek help for their mental health and well being. She spoke about the stigma around mental health in the black and brown communities and in sport. The talk was followed by a panel discussion highlighting the Prechter Program's research projects.
