Kat manages communications and marketing activities for the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program. In her role, she focuses on the design and production of print and online marketing materials, brand and PR oversight, event management (educational events, lectures, conferences, large fundraisers, donor celebrations), corporate and private sponsorships & partnerships, website updates and social media initiatives, advertising strategy, publication of newsletters, and community outreach projects in order to increase public awareness about specific research. Furthermore, she works closely with our development team on donor relations and stewardship. Kat comes to our research team with over a decade of relevant experience, gained in international corporations as well as academic settings. Her work is focused on helping to bring the Program and its innovative research into bipolar disorder to the attention of the public on a national and international level.
