Senior Associate Director of Development

Biography

Lisa Fabian joined the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research team as the Associate Director of Development, Mental Health Programs, in February 2017. Lisa studied psychology at the University of Michigan (College of LSA) and pursued graduate coursework in experimental psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She was pleased to return to Ann Arbor after raising her children in Southern California. 

Lisa served as Director, Mid-range Donor Programs, at Donor Service Group in Los Angeles, CA for 15 years.  In that role, she piloted and then managed their mid-range donor engagement program, a thriving department of fundraisers working on behalf of major non-profit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, the American Red Cross, and the Human Rights Campaign. Prior to this, Lisa worked for the Anti-Defamation League in Southern California and as an advertising executive in Chicago. 

Lisa enjoys working directly with individuals who share her personal commitment to improving treatment options and outcomes for people with bipolar disorder.
