Dr. Melvin McInnis, Research Director for the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program, and Dr. Sagar Parikh, professor of psychiatry, were interviewed on April 15, 2015 by local Ann Arbor, MI, radio personalities. They discussed the differences between depression and bipolar disorder and how to diagnose these illnesses, the work being done at the U-M Eisenberg Family Depression Center and Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program, new medications in the field of mental illness treatment, and the latest research undertakings including how to become a participant in the many research projects.
