They talk about Mr. Zaret's dedication to support research into bipolar disorder, spurred by his 31-year-old daughter, Alison, who lived with bipolar disorder and died by suicide. Mr. Zaret has dealt with the element of grief associated with suicide and the steps following the loss of a loved one. In response, Alison’s aunt and uncle, along with her parents, established a fund that supports the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program.
