Hello! My name is Aaron. I grew up in Pennsylvania (Erie) and Michigan (Hartland). I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in biopsychology in 2016.
What interests you about the ABCD Study/research?
At the ABCD Study we get to ask all sorts of interesting questions about the brain, behavior, and environment. I am most interested about why some people struggle with substances and drugs and why other people might not. I hope our study can help answer this question!
How long have you worked in the department and what does your work focus on / what area do you work in?
I have been on the ABCD team for nearly three years and it's been so cool to see some of our participants grow and change.
Fun fact about yourself! What are your hobbies?
When I'm not at work I like to play video games (Rocket League, Valorant, Overwatch, Dayz), exercise (biking and running), garden (vegetables, flowers, and herbs), and cook. I also love music, and I play guitar and piano!
