Biography

  • Completed APA-approved internship at New York City Children's Center - Queens Campus 
  • Joined NYU Langone for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship wtih the Stress, Trauma, and Resilience Treatment group at the NYU Child Study Center, focused on disseminating Trauma Systems Therapy (Saxe, Ellis, & Brown, 2015)
  • Served as a faculty member at NYU Langone from 2015-2021 as part of their Faculty Group Practice
  • Joined the NYU Child Center's Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Thearpy Team and completed intensive training in DBT and DBT Exposure PRolonged Protocl for PTSD
  • Joined NYU Health + Hopsitals Bellevue Hospital Center as an attending psychologist at the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (CPHP) in 2017
  • Promoted to Clinical Director of the CPHP 2018-2021
  • Joined Michigan Medicine Department of Psychiatry in 2023 as Clinical Assistant Professor

Areas of Interest

  • Specializing in the treatment of children and famililes with complex psychiatric needs, including traumatic stress, anxiety and mood disorders, suicidality, and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors
  • Providing evidence-based care to high-risk children and adolescents including Dialectial Behavior Thearpy, trauma-informed treatments, and other CBT-based interventions
  • Developing and enhacing interim levels of acute care, including Intensive Outpatient Programs and Partial Hospitalization Programs, to improve continuum of care opportunities across behavioral health settings
