Biography

I was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California but moved to Ann Arbor before high school. The University of Michigan psychiatry department had a special role in shaping and developing my interest in the field of psychiatry; my first job after graduating from high school was working on the adult inpatient unit as a psychiatric care worker. Way back then I distantly hoped one day I might be a resident at UM so it was a dream come true to see I had matched here. Aside from my own personal relationship with this place, I was really impressed with the residents I met and benefits offered at our program. My favorite things to do in Ann Arbor are go to the farmers market on Saturday mornings and have Monahans for lunch. In my free time I love reading poetry and chillin with my fiance and two pups.
