Biography
Jordyn Tovey earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2022, specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health & Substance Abuse. Jordyn's professional journey is characterized by a commitment to effective therapeutic practices, including extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has interest in expertly applying Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to a variety of diagnoses, including primary psychotic disorders. Jordyn been in the Post-Graduate Social Work Fellowship here in Ambulatory Psychiatry and she is actively engaged in mental health research, contributing to studies that advance understanding and clinical practice.
