Katelynn Alcorn, MD

Child Psychiatry Fellow

Biography

I chose Michigan Medicine for my general psychiatry residency and feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay and continue with my child and adolescent psychiatry training here. I chose to stay at Michigan Medicine for fellowship training for many reasons including the emphasis on fellow education, the robust pediatric ECT exposure, and ample opportunity to further explore and develop my own interests. As a psychiatry resident at University of Michigan, I had the chance to work with many attendings who completed child and adolescent fellowship here, and thus had confidence in the quality of the training I would receive as a fellow. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my cat, dog, and loved ones, in addition to traveling, taking care of my houseplants, and staying physically active.
