Biography

I’m originally from California, but have loved living in Ann Arbor since I first moved here to complete a post-baccalaureate premedical program. After attending medical school at University of Michigan, I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to stay and train here in psychiatry! The faculty at U-M are down to earth and approachable while still being leaders in their respective fields, which makes for a rich and supportive learning environment. Being at a tertiary academic center, I knew I would have the chance to learn from a diverse set of patients and pathologies, to afford me a comprehensive, well-rounded training. As an added bonus, Ann Arbor is a cozy and welcoming college town with a fun atmosphere and lots of local pride. There’s no shortage of things to do, from local events and natural escapes in nearby nature preserves, to the wider metro Detroit area. And sports - lots of sports!
