Biography

Kazia Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Master of Social Work from Michigan State University School of Social Work. Kazia specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. She has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and is a nationally certified provider of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).
 
Kazia has worked in both private practice and community mental health settings, where she previously served as a crisis supervisor and outpatient therapist. She focuses on working with individuals facing complex mental health challenges, particularly those experiencing high levels of distress or crisis. Kazia is committed to safety planning and intervention, helping individuals navigate emotional and behavioral crises with effective strategies for stabilization.
 
In addition to her clinical work, Kazia is actively involved in advocacy and community organization, with a focus on suicide prevention and related initiatives. She has contributed to efforts aimed at increasing awareness, resources, and support for individuals at risk.
