Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Masha, and I grew up in metro Detroit and attended the University of Michigan for college. After graduation, I worked in public health research in Boston. I returned to Ann Arbor for medical school and am beyond happy to be staying for residency! On the interview trail, I found that the University of Michigan struck the perfect balance between top-notch clinical training, research opportunities, and down-to-earth faculty and residents. Many programs are supportive of their residents on paper, but this is one that truly walks the walk. Another unique feature of this program is that resident interests are represented by our union, the House Officers Association.
Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love exploring parks together and appreciate how readily accessible the great outdoors are within Ann Arbor and throughout the beautiful mitten state.
