U-M Department of Psychiatry Launches New Website

The Department of Psychiatry’s communications team is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new department website

This project began in the fall of 2016, after consultation with the U-M HITS team (Health Information and Technology). The design of the new website falls in line with Michigan Medicine branded department websites. The purpose of the new site is to have a cohesive brand across University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers.

New features include:

  • A mobile friendly design;
  • Improved content organization and user experience;
  • Opportunity to highlight research;
  • New and improved faculty directory with updated headshots and;
  • Updated research, education, and patient care sections.

“I am delighted to share the new department website with our faculty, staff and patients,” said Gregory W. Dalack, M.D., chair of the U-M Department of Psychiatry. “It is my hope that the new website will help potential patients, residents, fellows, and employees find the critical information they are looking for when deciding where to seek information, clinical care or opportunities to participate in research.”

This fall, expect to see: added social worker and resident profiles as well as a departmental intranet website, which will include any documents that staff would like to be made easily available to the department.

The communications team welcomes feedback about the content of the new site. Please contact Anthony Provenzola ([email protected]) or Stephanie Abraham ([email protected]), with your comments and questions.
