Breaking Down Mental Health

A new podcast for health care providers that bridges the gap between medicine and psychiatry; those who listen can receive CME credit or social work CEUs.

Breaking Down Mental Health is a podcast for health care providers that bridges the gap between medicine and psychiatry. It focuses on equipping medical professionals with clinical guidance about various mental health topics from the very basic to the more complex, to better prepare all providers to answer the call to action during this mental health crisis within our pediatric population.  

This podcast is hosted by a dynamic triad representing three groups of providers that support mental health consultations as Michigan Medicine's C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan:

Join us as we break down different aspects of mental health into manageable pieces and work to eliminate stigma. 

Target audience: Physicians, PAs, NPs, nurses, social workers, other healthcare professionals, house officers, and medical students. 

Expected results: After completing this activity participants will be able to apply the basic concepts of psychiatric care within the pediatric population no matter their current practice setting.
