Rebecca Willis, MD

Child Psychiatry Fellow

Biography

Being born and raised in Michigan, it was an easy choice for me to continue my training here in the mitten state! I was interested in training at Michigan Medicine initially due to the program’s proximity to my family as well as having had warm and friendly personal interactions with fellows and faculty during my interview day. In addition to this, I was impressed by the program’s offering of being able to learn from and network with faculty who have extensive expertise and are renowned in their academic pursuits. My training at Michigan Medicine has been instrumental in allowing me to explore my more niche interests, has helped prepare me for managing many complex cases as a clinician, and has provided me with connections to lifelong colleagues and friends through my co-fellows and mentors.
