Saad Shamshair, M.D.

Saad Shamshair grew up in the state of New Jersey where he first became interested in clinical medicine and advocacy as a student and advocate at Rutgers University.  After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, he couples matched to the University of Michigan with his wife. He chose U of M because of their extensive clinical expertise, the vast array of pathology, and the different training environments he’d be able to learn in. He enjoys running and hiking, and has recently started to bike along all the trails and lakes Michigan has to offer.
