Devin has an extensive background in health care focused in patient experience. She started her career as a Clinical Dietitian and then moved into the area of Service Excellence as an Analyst at William Beaumont Hospital. She continued her work in Service Excellence at Beaumont Hospital and then became the Director of the program. As Director she had responsibility for Volunteer Services, Community Outreach Development, Guest Services, patient experience data through Press Ganey, and the grievance policy. In 2013 she left for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan to serve as the Director of Service Excellence with responsibility for culture transformation, patient and family centered care, and coaching of the executive team.
Devin is currently at Press Ganey as a Patient Experience Advisor working with an array of healthcare clients with a goal to help reduce patient and caregiver suffering within those organizations. She will bring this unique perspective of other systems and industry best practices to her role at Michigan Medicine.
Devin will be starting on September 1, 2021 and will report to Keith Gran. In her role Devin will be responsible for the Patient and Family Engagement Team, Patient Facilitated Services, Interpreter Services, Project based initiatives and Training.
