Support Groups

A support group provides an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about diseases or treatments. Support groups bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences.

Brain Tumor Support Group

For any patient with a brain tumor of any type – metastatic, malignant, non-malignant.  Caregivers/family may also attend.  The group often splits after initial gathering into patient and caregiver groups.  Patients do not have to be getting care at Michigan Medicine to participate.

Brain Aneurysm Support Group

For patients with a diagnosis of brain aneurysm or AVM (both those who have suffered from rupture and those have not)

Meetings monthly to discuss issues related to hemophilia, resources, etc.
