Zach was the only patient on stage at Michigan Medicine's groundbreaking for the Hospital of the Future in 2019. He shared his story of his spinal cord injury as a teen, coming to Mott Children's Hospital for treatment and his parent's ongoing support. He credits the team of doctors, nurses, therapists and other caregivers at Mott Children's Hospital for giving him the chance to experience a full life.
